The Devil is in the Details
KistemakerBusinessLawGroupDaytonaBeachA handshake should be enough, but contracts are still necessary in present-day business, says Diane Michael in a recent article published in the Ormond Beach Observer. Kistemaker Business Law Group understands the legal tedious and redundant terms used in contractual agreements.
We are a boutique law firm that focuses on specific areas of the law including Business Law and Litigation, Condominium-Homeowners Association Law, and Construction Law and Litigation, Real Property Law and Litigation and Landlord Tenant Law.

Our attorneys are everything you would expect from a small, high-end boutique firm - extremely well-educated, trained by the nation’s largest law firms, capable of handling your most important matters, and tough but tactful whether in the courtroom or at the negotiating table. For any contractual matter from creation to updating or reviewing your contract, please contact us!
Do you have Unclaimed Property?

Currently, the Florida Chief Financial Officer holds unclaimed property accounts valued at more than $1 billion, mostly from dormant accounts in financial institutions, insurance and utility companies, securities and trust holdings. In addition to money and securities, unclaimed property includes tangible property such as watches, jewelry, coins, currency, stamps, historical items and other miscellaneous articles from abandoned safe deposit boxes. Unclaimed money is deposited into the state school fund, where it is used for public education. There is, however, no statute of limitations, and citizens have the right to claim their property any time at no cost. Check out this website to see if YOU might have unclaimed property.

Contract Lawyers/Co-Counsel
KistemakerBusinessLawGroupDaytonaBeachImagine yourself sitting at your desk unable to focus on any one thing because you have too much to do. Sound familiar?

Then imagine further that you get a phone call from a great prospective client, but the matter is outside your comfort zone. When obligations and opportunities thus conspire, what do you do? Call Ghostbusters? No, you engage co-counsel or hire a contract attorney. The contract lawyers and co-counsel offer Kistemaker Business Law Group at least seven potential advantages which allow the firm to produce better results for our clients and ensure all their complete satisfaction by:
-Allowing the firm to become full-service firm when necessary
-Leveling the playing field vis-a-vis large-firm competition
-Producing better results, even in the firms areas of expertise
-Provide an alternative to hourly rate billing

These lawyer and co-counsel we partner with are high-caliber legal professionals possessing greater expertise regarding the relevant project than their permanent counterparts. They are either former practicing partners or associates with extensive experience in the subject area, who are now happy to provide the same services for a lower cost. The types of projects the firms contract lawyers handle range from document review to preparation for litigation. Any work a law firm attorney can do, a contract attorney can be hired to do. The use of contract lawyers and co-counsel to assist in the success of a small boutique law firm is a new phenomenon, but one whose time has come. By utilizing contract lawyers and co-counsel, Kistemaker Business Law Group can ensure that clients are kept satisfied; the firm is more competitive; save money, time, and space; and make the best use of the firms own expertise and resources.
