| "Do the Loop!" - March 2012
Food Truck Bazaar March 30 Rolling restaurants have become a popular trend in other areas of Florida. That excitement is heading to the LOOP in March. A gourmet convoy called the Food Truck Bazaar will roll onto the beachside’s Flagler Avenue from 5-8 p.m., Friday, March 30. A cast of dinner and dessert trucks will be spaced along the avenue to serve an array of gourmet food including barbecue, ethnic delicacies, sandwiches, seafood, and desserts. The event is sponsored by the City of New Smyrna Beach. For more information, please call 386-424-2175.

Tres Bien Duo concert in the park March 3 The Tres Bien Duo will perform from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday March 3, in Christmas Park on the corner of Canal and Live Oak streets. Guitarist Ted Conner has performed on USO tours in 14 countries and has written seven guitar books. Bassist Ron Gilotti has toured with Lou Rawls, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Ray Anthony and has worked locally with Don Nedobeck, and the Sounds of Sinatra. Historic Walking Tours The New Smyrna Museum of History is hosting weekly historic walking tours in the Canal Street Historic District through April 14. The one-hour tours are offered at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Tours begin at the museum, 120 Sams Avenue. The cost is $5 for museum members and $6 for non-members.
